  9. application.  Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) is used to communicate with the
  10. windows application.  For example a Thoroughbred application may pass data
  11. directly to Microsoft Excel or Lotus 1-2-3 or any other Windows application
  12. and receive data from the Windows application.  The Thoroughbred application
  13. must run on a UNIX host and the terminal must be a Microsoft Windows capable
  14. Workstation.
